The Coffee Park
It was a very unique coffee shop with a supervised treehouse for kids to play in.
Moms could bring their toddlers to play safely while they got a break.
The Coffee Park was the perfect place to bring your Mom's group or playgroup!
It was a genius concept. We opened The Coffee Park in October 2007,
and it was a tremendous opening. We spent the summer of 2008 trying to figure out
how to keep up with our successful restaurant, and how to market this brilliant concept.
Then the economy blew up and turned us upside down!
We quickly learned how to operate on less and tried everything we could
to get people in the door and order more once they came.
We struggled through the year and rode the roller coaster until the ride had to stop.
Now, we've said a bittersweet goodbye to our café, and we are embarking on a new adventure in life!
